KAVIRAJ ANANTA TRIPATHY SHARMA
'KATS Ayurvedic College & Hospital' is one among three govt. Ayurveda colleges in Odisha. It was established on August 15, 1978 under private management by the founder Late Kaviraja Ananta Tripathy Sharma, Ex-MP and renowned Ayurveda Physician in the country. The state govt. has taken over this college on Dt. 01.04.1994. It is providing BAMS course of strength of seventy five students regularly each year. Also this institute offers PG course in the subject namely Shalya Tantra (Surgery) with 04 seats from the academic year 2023-24 onward. There are fourteen department and thirty six teaching faculties and one yoga instructor working in this institution under the principal Prof.(Dr) Bipin Bihari Khuntia. It has hundred bedded hospital and OPD giving service to the society.

Seven days NSS winter health camp was organized by the college NSS Unit-II From Dt. 24-12-2016 to 30-12-2016 at rhe primary school campus Ankushpur.
